We had a dinner reunion of the phenomenal 80's classic movies (that
defined a generation's era) Bagets & Bagets 2. It was held in the
beautiful house of Chesca Laurel (nee Weinbrenner/ Inigo) and we just
ate, made kwentuhan, relived old memories. William Martinez was there
w/ wife Yayo Aguila (who was in the original Bagets flick w/ Raymond
Lauchengco, JC Bonnin, Aga Muhlach &,Eula Valdez, Joebelle Salvador
& Herbert Bautista) Also present was Eula Valdez w/ hubby Richard
Litonjua, Ramon Christopher, Herbert Bautista, Raymond Lauchengco &
wife Mia, yours truly & my wife Pia. It's so good to get together,
& share a bond that no one can take away from us. It's like we are
an elite group within the industry that meets regularly & keeps in
touch from time to time. Ariel (Aga M.) couldn't make it as he was in
his farm somewhere in Lipa, but he spoke to us thru phone. Direk Maryo
J. delos Reyes also was on the phone, and they were inggit that they
couldn't be with us. We did toasts for our fallen comrade, the late
Jon-Jon Hernandez & for Pastor JC Bonnin who is now in the UK. Our
last get together was at Dish a couple of months ago, and we did
interviews for the Bagets 1&2 commemorative DVD from Viva, like a
20th anniversary gift to the masses. Next DVD? Ninja Kids
definitely!!!! I will post pics soon.

 | Bagets for me will always be one of those big things from my childhood...i grew up n Bagets and Ninja Kids (and other movies like Hotshots and all that)...i think having a commemorative dvd for those movies would be really cool! i recently saw Ninja Kids on cable and i couldn't help but sit back and watch it for old times sake! ;) |

I'm Arvin David, Segment Producer for Digital Tour, a techie show on Studio 23 that airs every Sunday at 9:00 pm (before F). On February 5, 2006 (Sunday), we're featuring Raymond Lauchengco as a musician who uses digital gadgets, the remastering of Bagets and his music video (Farewell) . In the segment, he also talked about Bagets and the regular get-togethers with the gang. I just stumbled upon your page kaka browse ng "Google", Through the years i have always been renting this movie everytime i get the chance! From betamax to VHS, now DVD???? Bagets Rules!!!! =)
I'm a 90's kid but i always looked up to your Generation, u guys were all about just havin fun! Nung 90's at ngayon kase puro payabangan at pagpapacute!!!
